The Uttar Pradesh Combine Agricultural and Technology Entrance Test (UPCATET) 2018 will be conducted by Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur. The UPCATET 2018 will be held for the intake of candidates in Agriculture and Science programs, offered at UG and PG level.
Only the domicile candidates of Uttar Pradesh can apply for the UPCATET 2018. However, in the MBA program, the candidates from other states may also apply. The qualifiers of UPCATET 2018 receive admission at Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Banda University of Agriculture and Technology, Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology, Kumarganj, and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology. Under UPCATET 2018, the admission will be done on the basis of merit secured by the candidates. However, the reservation criteria will also be considered during the seat allocation. Despite all, the admission will be based on fulfilling of eligibility criteria.

UPCATET 2018 Application Form

UPCATET 2018 Admit Card
The admit card of the examination will be released in 1st week of May 2018. It can be downloadable from the official website of the UPCATET 2018. The candidates can download the UPCATET admit card 2018 by accessing the link provided on our page. To download the admit card, the candidates will have to submit the following details:

The candidates will have to produce a hard copy of the admit card and carry it on the exam day. Any candidates will not be allowed to take the UG/PG exam if they do not possess admit card of UPCATET 2018.
UPCATET 2018 Result
The result of UPCATET 2018 will be declared at www.upcatet.org. It will be announced on the mentioned schedule. The candidates will be able to check it by submitting the required details. The result will display the merit of the qualified candidates.
To determine the merit, the score of the candidates will be used. If the score of two or more candidates is the same then the tie-breaking method will be used to avoid the clash.
The UPCATET 2018 tie-breaking method used during merit calculation is as below:
For U.G. Programme: In the event of two or more candidates securing equal marks the merit shall be decided on the basis of marks secured in the D, C, B and then marks in the qualifying examination.
For Master Programme: In the event of two or more candidates securing equal marks the merit shall be decided on the basis of marks secured in the A, B, C and then qualifying examination.
For Ph.D. Programmes: If the marks secured by two or more candidates will be the same, the merit shall be decided on the basis of marks secured in the C, B, A and then qualifying examination. In the event of tie between candidates of different paper groups of UG Programmes the younger will be placed at higher merit.
UPCATET 2018 Counselling
The qualified candidates, as per merit, shall be called for counselling on a specified date and time for consideration to admission in various Undergraduate, Master’s and Ph.D. Programmes. The candidate will not be informed by post. The counselling letter should be downloaded from the website www.upcatet.org.
No communication regarding the result of the U.P. Combined Agriculture & Technology Entrance Test– 2018 will be entertained.
The candidate should report at the counselling place as per schedule given in counselling letter for checking of relevant documents and depositing prescribed fee. Those candidates who do not turn up at their call will be given a chance at the end of the day. They can claim only the Programmes in which seats are available at that time and as per their qualifications/groups.
The candidates coming for personal appearance should bring along with them the following documents (in five sets) for checking and depositing before counselling.
- The candidate is required to provide the downloaded copy of the online application form duly attested by the competent authority (Registrar/Principal/Dean) of last attended Institution college.
- Attested photocopies of High School Certificate and Marks-sheet along with the originals.
- Attested photocopies of Intermediate Certificate and Marks-sheet along with the originals.
- Attested photocopies of Marks-sheet and Certificate of Bachelor and Master Degree qualification that he/she may possess along with the originals.
- Domicile Certificate of Uttar Pradesh State issued by the competent authority.
- Sport Weightage Certificate in original.
- Character and Conduct Certificate in original from the Head of the Institution last attended.
- Five-passport size photographs with name and Roll Number written on the back.
- Original copy of OBC category certificate issued after 31.3.2018 or valid on counselling date.
- An affidavit accounting for discontinuity of more than three months after leaving the Institution last attended.
