Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test is a national-level management entrance examination, conducted by Symbiosis International University (SIU). SNAP test scores are valid for admission to 15 institutes under SIU. Candidates aspiring to join MBA / MSc (CA) / MSc (SS) programmes offered by institutes of Symbiosis International University have to take the common, mandatory Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Online Test 2017.

A candidate needs to register for SNAP Test & also register for the institutes offering his/ her choice of programmes by paying separate programmes registration fees. If shortlisted, he/she would then need to attend the GE-PIWAT process conducted by each of these institutes individually. SNAP 2017 – Symbiosis National Aptitude

SNAP 2017 Score will be valid only for admission to select programmes of Symbiosis International University for the academic year of 2018-19. Admission to the select programmes at Symbiosis International University (SIU) are strictly based on merit, assessment of individual performance in Symbiosis National Aptitude Test [SNAP] for Postgraduate Studies and other processes prescribed by the University. (Note: – SNAP Result will be declared on December 28, 2017 on snaptest.org and will be available up to January 30, 2018).

SNAP 2017 Application Form

Register online on the website snaptest.org (from August 10, 2017 to November 24, 2017). Any Changes in the online application form (except test city preferences) will be entertained only up to the closing date of Registration i.e. November 24, 2017. No changes shall be permitted after closing date under any circumstances. No change of test city requests will be entertained once candidates have completed their SNAP Online Test 2017 payment.

Upload your latest scanned colour passport size photo at the time of Online Registration for SNAP Test. (Your photograph should not be more than 3 months old).

Ensure that the information you have filled is accurate.

Eligibility Criteria

Graduate from any recognized / statutory University with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST). Programmes which require specific discipline/ subject specialisation need to be checked for eligibility as given by the respective Institute.

A candidate who has completed qualifying degree from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). All foreign degrees/ qualifications need to be verified from AIU by the candidate before seeking admission to any programme of SIU.

Evaluation Division of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) issues equivalence certificate for foreign degrees/qualifications.

Reservation

Following will be the reservation policy for admission to any programme of Institutes of SIU (except Symbiosis Institutes of Management Studies, which has separate policy #)

Within Sanctioned Intake

  • Scheduled Caste (SC) : 15%
  • Scheduled Tribes (ST) : 7.5%
  • Differently Abled * : 3%

Over &Above Intake

  • Kashmiri Migrants : 2 seats per programme
  • International Candidates : 15%

A candidate applying under any of the reserved category (Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/ Differently Abled/ Kashmiri Migrants) are mandatorily required to submit relevant document issued by competent authority. Any participation at any stage of admission process by such candidate is purely provisional and always subject verification and authentication of such relevant document.

Any candidate who has incorrectly mentioned his category may apply for correction through Email from his registered E-mail id along with supporting documents (for change to Reserved Category).

SNAP 2017 Admit Card

SNAP Test Admit Card should be printed from the SNAP website [ snaptest.org] which will be available from Friday, December 01, 2017, till Sunday, December 17, 2017.

Please ensure that your latest passport size, colour photograph is pasted on the Admit Card at the place provided for before appearing for the test (Your photograph should not be more than 3 months old)

Admit Card along with Photo Identity proof should be carried to the Test Centre at the time of the test. An acceptable photo identity is any one of the following,

  • Passport.
  • Driving license.
  • Voter ID Card.
  • Pan Card
  • AADHAR Card (UID)

An authorized person will verify and authenticate your Admit Card against the photoid on the day of the test. Please preserve this authenticated Admit Card for further GE-PIWAT processes.

Candidates should note that an authenticated Admit Card is an important document without which the candidate will not be permitted to appear for further selection processes of SIU. If the Authenticated Admit card is lost, a duplicate Authenticated Admit Card will not be issued. It should be retained till the admission process is over.

SNAP 2017 Shortlisting & Selection Process

Candidates will be shortlisted for GE-PIWAT based on their overall SNAP Percentile. Please check the respective institute website for information and dates of GE-PIWAT.
