RRB ALP Application Form 2019 – The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will announce soon the vacancies regarding Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) and Technicians. The notification for the same will be published on its official website by the board. The interested candidates will be able to apply online through its official website once the dates are released. As it was previously informed by the board that in order to apply for the same Adhar has been made mandatory. Candidates should keep checking the official website in order to keep themselves updated about the Application form, Exam date and further notifications regarding RRB ALP 2019.

RRB ALP Application Form 2019

Candidates interested to apply for the RRB ALP 2019 can apply only online from the official website. The application form for the same will be released in the month of December 2018. As per the previous year, the last date for submission of application form expectedly would be March 2019. Below provided are Expected dates for RRB ALP 2019:

RRB ALP Eligibility Criteria 2019

Candidates should check the eligibility criteria before applying for the RRB ALP 2019. Below provided are the detailed description of eligibility criteria which will clear the confusion about it as it was in a previous year:

* Nationality

  • Its important for a candidate to be a citizen of India.
  • Such candidates can also apply for Government jobs who are citizens of Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, Pakistan,  Sri Lanka, Burma, Uganda, East African Countries of Kenya,  the United Republic of Tanzania,  Malawi, Zambia, Zaire, Vietnam, and Ethiopia
  • Only those candidates belonging from Tibet can apply who came to India before January 01, 1962  and settled down in India.
  • And candidates of other countries should fall under Person of Indian Origin category and are ready to settle to down in India.

Age Limit

  • Minimum age limit is 18 Years.
  • Maximum age limit is 30 Years.
  • Expected Cut Off date for Minimum and Maximum age Limit will be July 01, 2019

Relaxation provided on age limit as below;

Note: Candidates waiting for their final result cannot apply for the post as they are not eligible. Such students should not apply because the application fee will not be refunded.

RRB ALP 2019 Medical standard and Technicians Recruitment

Other Medical Standards

Candidates need to fulfill some more medical rules, as prescribed by the Indian Railways Medical Standard. It can be checked through Chapter V of India Railways Medical Manual (IRRM) Volume I

Candidates will be selected on the basis of CBT and Document Verification for RRB ALP and Technician. At first, CBT 1 will be held and then CBT 2 will occur and if you are applying for ALP then after CBT 2, you will have to appear for the Aptitude Test. For every test, there will be different Admit cards provided to you.

RRB ALP Exam Date 2019

The announcement of exam date for RRB ALP 2019 was awaited for a long time. ALP CBT 1 exam dates will be announced in the month of July 2019. Along with Stage, I result RRBs also uploaded an official notification regarding the Railway ALP CBT 2 exam dates. Soon the Board will also disclose the session and city of the exam.

  • Cross Check all the details you filled and then submit. If any incorrect information found then click on “Edit” Button and make the information correct.
  • It should be noted that RRB doesn’t allow all the information filled to be corrected but at the time of Document Verification, candidature gets affected by this.
  • Once the Registration Process is complete, You will get Registration ID and Password. Also, the SMS will be sent on the registered Mobile number and an email will also be sent on your registered email id too. However, it will reflect on the screen also.
  • Next Login with the provided Registration id and Password and fill up the Following Details:

  9. Other necessary Details
  • Once all the details are filled, Proceed with payment of Application Fee. The mode of payments is provided above.

Note: Candidates paying the fee through Bank-offline mode needs to take a note that it might take about an hour for the payment to be confirmed. So, login in again after 60 minutes and check the payment status confirmation. The time period for payment confirmation may vary from 24hrs to 48 hrs in case of Post Office payment.

RRB ALP and Technician 2019 Application Form Correction

Try not to make any mistake when filling the application form. But even if you do, then you can edit the minor details by paying Rs. 250.

  • You cannot change State, email, and mobile number.

The fee should be paid by all the candidates and the facility to correct the data can only be used twice. The modification can be done before the last date of application. After that, no correction will be allowed.

The process to do modification is as below:

  • Go to the “ONLINE/E-Application” link.
  • Click on ‘Modify Application’
  • Login by Submitting Registration Number and Password’
  • Pay the fee amount via online and offline modes
  • Make the required changes.
  • Take out the print of the application form.

RRB ALP 2019 Admit Card

The admit card for RRB ALP will be available for download on the official website. The admit card for the same will be released soon once the examination occurs. Only those candidates will be able to download the admit card for the examination who have appeared in the CBT 1st and 2nd stage. The dates for Admit card are not out yet and will be updated soon on the official website. Admit card will be released 7 days before the examination. A separate admit card will be issued for the candidates appearing in the CBT stage 1 and 2. The admit card contains all the details related to the venue, date of examination, Name of candidate, Roll number etc.

RRB ALP 2019 Selection Process

As elaborated below, the RRB ALP 2019 Selection Process will be decided on the basis of the four stages

RRB ALP 2019 First stage CBT

It is an online computer-based test that is taken as a first stage for appearing in RRB ALP 2019. This exam is compulsory for both Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) and Technician. After clearing this initial stage, the candidates can appear for the further stages.

RRB ALP 2019 Exam Pattern (First Stage)

  • Duration of the exam will be 60 minutes.
  • The total number of questions will be 75.
  • Mode of Language in question paper will be English or Hindi or Regional language.
  • There will be negative marking for every wrong answer, 1/3rd of the total marks will be deducted.
