Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) conducted JCECE 2018 on the month of May, 2018. JCECE 2018

Those candidates who are interested in appearing in the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination 2018 may fill their application as per schedule on official website jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. JCECE Admit Card 2018 will be available for download after the application process get over. Answer key of JCECE 2018 will be available on official website. Candidates who appear in entrance exam can check answer keys of Set A, B, C, D. It is expected that JCECEB will release JCECE Answer Key 2018, around 2-3 days after exam. JCECE Result 2018 is being announced online at jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. JCECE 2018 Eligibility Criteria

B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture & B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry – The Applicant must have passed I.Sc. /10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry along with Mathematics or Biology. Minimum 17 years and maximum 22 years as on 1st July 2018.

B.V.Sc. & AH. – The Applicant must have passed I.Sc./1 O+ 2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and obtained 50% marks (40% in case of Applicant belonging to reserved category) in aggregate of these subjects. Minimum 17 years and maximum 22 years as on 1st July 2018.

B.H.M.S. – The Applicant must have passed I.Sc. I 10+2 or equivalent examination with English Physics, Chemistry & Biology. Minimum 17 years as on or before 31.12.2018.

B.Tech.(Dairy Technology) – The Applicant must have passed I.Sc./10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and at least 50% marks or equivalent G.P.A in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics taken together. Minimum 17 years as on 1st July 2018.

B.F.Sc. (Bachelor of Fisheries Science) – The Applicant must have passed Higher Secondary / 10+2 / intermediate or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Mathematics or Physics, Chemistry & Biology or Inter (Agriculture}. Minimum 17 years as on 1st July 2018.

Physical Criteria: – Medical Checkup of Applicants recommended for admission in all courses will be done by the Board and/or Institution and after check-up, only fit Applicant will be treated as eligible for admission.

Residential Criteria: – The Applicant must be a citizen of India and Local / Permanent resident of Jharkhand.

Scoring and Marking

  • Each question carries 1 mark. For each correct response the Applicant will get 1 mark. For each incorrect response, ¼ marks will be deducted from the total score. No deduction from the total score will, however, be made if no response is indicated for a question in the answer sheet. The Applicants are advised not to attempt such question in answer sheet, if they are not sure of the correct response. More than one answer indicated against a question will be considered as incorrect response and will be counted as negative marks.
  • For the purpose of evaluation, the Question Booklet code as printed in the OMR Answer Sheet will be accepted as final.

Language of the Question Papers

Question Paper consists of bi-lingual i.e. in English and Hindi language.

In case of any ambiguity in translation of any of the questions, its English version shall be treated as final and correct.

Exam Centres

  • The J.C.E.C.E. – 2018 is expected to be conducted at Ranchi, Jamshedpur, and Dhanbad.
  • The Applicants may be allowed to select Two Convenient towns as their preferential centres for the Entrance Test.

P.C.M. Group – An Applicant who has passed or is appearing in I.Sc I 10+2 or equivalent examination with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and is interested in appearing in the Competitive Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, then he/she will be called PCM Group. He/She will have to give answer the question of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in the examination.

P.C.B. Group – An Applicant who has passed or is appearing in I.Sc I 10+2 or equivalent examination with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology and is interested in appearing in the Competitive Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, then he/she will be called PCB Group. He/She will have to give answer the question of Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects in the examination.

P.C.M.B. Group – An Applicant who has passed or is appearing in I.Sc I 10+2 or equivalent examination with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology as well as keeping Mathematics as an extra subject and is interested in appearing in the Competitive Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics, then he/she will be called PCMB Group. He/She will have to answer the question of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology subjects in the examination.
