GCET- 2018: DTE Goa has issued the notification for Admission to Professional degree course 2018-19. GCET exam is conducted for offering admission to the students in architecture, engineering and Medical courses. Admission to MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, Allied health science & B.Sc nursing courses shall be based on NEET(National Entrance cum Eligibility Test) – 2018 and admission to B.E & B.Pharma courses and B.Arch shall be done on the basis of GCET-2018 and NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) Respectively. MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, Allied Health Sciences (Para Medical) & B.Sc. in Nursing Courses
Admission to medical courses mentioned above shall be based on NEET(National Entrance cum Eligibility Test) – 2018 to be conducted by CBSE and eligibility criteria prescribed by respective regulatory authority.
B.E. & B.Pharm courses
Admission to B.E & B.Pharma for the academic year 2018-19 shall be carried out on basis of GCET-2018,(Goa Common Entrance Test),which shall be conducted in various Centres, across Goa State, in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Maths, based on Std. XIIth (Science) syllabus prescribed in these subjects by Goa Board, for March- 2018 exam as per following schedule.

GCET 2018 Exam Pattern
- Number of Questions: Each paper shall consist of 75 questions
- Exam Duration: Two hours will be given for each paper
- Marking Scheme: One mark will be given for each correct answer
- Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking
